This website was a highlight for us. While we always talk up our technical capabilities, we’re not too bad at design either.
We feel this site is a great example of our design philosophy of content-forward, simple layouts, and real responsive polish.
We focussed on making the design beautiful to reflect the nature of the projects and places. We also prioritised a quality user experience that allowed easy navigation to explore the numerous projects, places and people involved, within a structure that encourages exploration.
A virtual discovery across Latin America
We find that so many information-driven sites have to deal with helping people to navigate to resources that they’re interested in. Invariably this involves a clever filter system (not always as simple as it would seem). In this case the client also wanted to incorporate some level of awareness of the geography of Latin America and a sense of place.
Cue, our cool map-feature, beautiful in its simplicity.
Creative Collaborations interactive mapOn time, on budget – with no surprises
This website project was a university initative and budget was tight. We were able to deliver the scope, within budget and on time.
And to futureproof the build and keep costs at a minimum, we built the site using a simple and dynamic content management system so the website manager had the freedom to easily update and add to projects, people and places.
Testament to the website’s success and usability
Creative Collaborations has been widely used throughout New Zealand to highlight the importance, connections and subsequent economic growth between the community, creative sectors of both New Zealand and Latin America.
We recommend checking out the site, enjoying the rich content and intuitive user experience first hand.
